‘Cooks’
We went to a Suburb of Tokyo, and met some friends who were celegrating a Birthday. Taken through the serving hatch to the kitchen.

‘Drinking at the old bar’
Down a side street in Tokyo we saw a sign pointing up to the first floor, there was an old style pub there, where the barman was playing old 70′s vinyl singles on the record player.

‘The Temple Entrance’
The entrance to the Temple, this was where peple would pray, wash and drink the water to clense themselves before entring the temple.

‘The Wishing Tree’
Within the temple grounds there is a treewhere you can write a wish on a piece of wood. Twice thoughout the day the monks would visit the tree to play, and in the process bless your wish to make it come true.

‘Local Cafe’
This was a cafe that we stopped in for lunch near Roppongi Hills. There was a VW campervan which acted like a booth.

‘Tokyo Gambling’
A game that is played like a fruit machine. All the time ball bearings fall from the top and you have to move pins to guide them to the tray, the more ball bearings you collect, the more money they can be exchanged for.

‘Tea Maid’
A girl dressed in a maids outfit tempts men into the cafe where girls dressed as cartoon characters serve tea and cake at inflated prices.

‘Noodle Bar’
This was a little noodle bar opposite our hotel in Shibuya. You picked 3 different ingredients and gave them to the cook, choose a sauce, hotness from 1-5 (althought they were all hot as fire) then he would cook it all up with a ton of noodles. Excellent.
