HOLGA - Vol. 01. FIRST EDITION

I carried my Holga camera with me over a 5 year period, photographing scenes I felt were a good subject and composition other than this, there are no reasons for each image, there is no structure or link between each image. I have simply set them out in order of the date they were taken and separated the images into four volumes of ten images, this being volume 1.


My choice of film was black and white. Scanned, slightly retouched to clear some dust and scratches. Post production led to the slightly vignetted, soft, sepia tinted feel to the images giving an ethereal, humble, calming feel to them.

All images shot on Ilford film, in a Holga Camera.

There will be 25 copies printed in the first edition. To celebrate the first edition, each copy will come with a 20x20cm print numbered the same as the book. These 50 prints are printed just for this first edition and will not be printed again.

The Zine has 24 pages, 170gsm Recycled Natural paper, 210mm Square. Digitally printed in colour throughout, stapled Binding. Cover: 170gsm Recycled Natural paper.

The print is a digital inkjet print, printed on smooth gloss, natural white, 335gsm, archival paper.

Book contains 10 images.
